Book Drive at Wal-Mart Granby a Huge Success
Book Drive Appreciated
I want to thank the many community members who graciously donated to the Children’s Book Drive for Success By 6 that was recently hosted by the Wal-Mart store in Granby. The books collected during the drive will be distributed through the Success By 6 program to encourage literacy and introduce children to the joys of reading. I would also like to thank the more than 40 Walmart employees who donated their time to the book drive. Thanks to the generosity of our community and the volunteers from the Wal-Mart Granby store that helped to collect and deliver the books, many children throughout Oswego County will be able to enjoy the pleasure of reading a book they can all their own.
