United Way Salutes SEFA / SUNY Oswego

84Fulton, NY – The United Way of Greater Oswego County presented SEFA (State Employee Federated Appeal) / SUNY Oswego with the Leadership and Commitment Award at the United Way?s Annual Meeting and Salute to Volunteers held March 13th at the American Foundry in Oswego. The award is presented to a company or organization that are leaders in educating their employees on the needs of the community, inspiring them to support the local United Way. ?United Way of Greater Oswego County has benefited greatly from the selfless giving of the many community minded individuals who are members of SEFA. SEFA and the team of Howard Gordon and Christy Huynh did an excellent job of sharing our mission with their fellow employees, and hosting numerous fundraising events. SEFA has a proven record of dependable partnership with United Way and it?s efforts are an outstanding example of caring individuals who truly realize that it is their community and do take it personal!? said Melanie Trexler, executive director of the United Way of Greater Oswego County. United Way Brings ?Stone Soup Too? Luncheon to Fulton

90Fulton, NY ? United Way?s ?Stone Soup Too? Luncheon returns to Fulton. Tavern on the Lock joins Mimi?s, Blue Moon Grill, and The Foursome Dinner in providing soup for United Way of Greater Oswego County?s Fifth Annual ?Stone Soup Too? Luncheon to be held Tuesday, March 19th from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at Holy Trinity Parish, 309 Buffalo Street in Fulton. In addition to the soups, there will be coffee from Dunkin? Donuts; salad provided by C?s; rolls from the Red Baron; cookies from Kathy?s Cakes and Joe?s Corner Market; cake from Springside at Seneca Hill and water courtesy of Hudson?s Dairy. The United Way will be accepting donations of $5 per person for the luncheon. All proceeds will be used to support area food pantries. Attendees are also encouraged to please bring donations of non-perishable food items, as the United Way will be collecting food donations as well. NBT Bank to Sponsor United Way?s Annual Meeting

Melanie Trexler, Executive Director of the United Way of Greater Oswego County has announced that the NBT Bank will serve as the official sponsor for the United Way?s Annual Meeting and Salute to Volunteers. Scheduled for Wednesday, March 13th at 8:00 a.m. the event will be held at the American Foundry, Route 104 West (behind Fajita Grill) in Oswego.
