According to United Way Resource Development Director Lois Luber, this year?s event will build upon the excitement generated from the 2012 Golf Classic. ?The move to the Oswego County Club last year breathed a new life into the event. According to Planning Committee Chairperson, John Nelson of the Nelson Funeral Home, the committee has worked diligently to make this year?s United Way Annual Golf Classic the best ever. “We are excited about having Oswego County Club host our tournament once again. The United Way Golf classic is an excellent opportunity for people to gather and support the United Way while enjoying a round of golf on one of New York’s finest private courses, said Nelson.”

The outing will once again feature a captain and crew format with teams of 4 golfers. A team registration includes: golf with carts for 4 people, a steak lunch or dinner, beverages, golf shirt, and an opportunity to win an automobile at the hole-in-one contest sponsored by Burritt Motors of Oswego.
