Oswego, NY – The Club House Tavern, in Oswego and Eagle Beverage have joined together to cook up an idea to benefit United Way of Greater Oswego County?s annual Stuff-A-Bus campaign.
On Saturday, July 30 from 8:00 am ? 11:30 am The Club House Tavern 126 West Second Street in Oswego, will host a breakfast in support of United Way?s annual Stuff-A-Bus campaign.? Sponsored by Eagle Beverage and The Club House Tavern the breakfast is open to the public.? The suggested minimum donation for the breakfast is $5.00 for adults with children 10 and under free.?? All donations will benefit the Stuff-A-Bus campaign that helps provides area youth in need with the supplies they need to begin the school year.
?This is the eleventh year that we have hosted this event,? said Robert McGrath, owner of The Club House Tavern.? ?The United Way does a lot to benefit the youth in our community and we are happy to be able to support their efforts and help raise money for their programs.? We?ve enjoyed plenty of community support over the years and are looking forward to welcoming a big crowd.?
?We are very appreciative of the continued support we receive from, The Club House Tavern / Spencer?s Ali, Eagle Beverage, and our planning committee,? added Executive Director of the United Way of Greater Oswego County, Patrick Dewine.? ?Last year we were able to provide approximately 1800 students with the school supplies they needed to begin the school year.? Businesses and community members coming together to help our youth and show support for their United Way and the way that we strive to help youth succeed is inspiring.? What better way to strengthen our community than investing in today?s youth, which will become tomorrow?s leaders.? I am looking forward to the event and I invite everyone to join us for a delicious breakfast.?
In addition to the breakfast there will be drawings for a chance to win a Labatt?s Mountain Bike, courtesy of Eagle Beverage and a 12-foot Pelican Kayak courtesy of The Club House Tavern, both of which are on display at The Clubhouse Tavern / Spencer?s Ali.?
