FULTON, NY ? The United Way of Greater Oswego County has announced that it is in the planning stages for the distribution of $66,437 in funding that it has received from the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA).
The funding, which can be used for food, rent assistance and utility assistance, is available to 501?3, not-for-profit agencies offering human services programs. Those agencies interested in applying for FEMA funding must submit a request to the United Way of Greater Oswego County no later than Friday, June 3, 2016.
The local FEMA board will convene on June 7, 10:30am at the United Way office, 1 South First St. in Fulton, to review all requests.
